The artist starting in 2004 is taking time to create a special series of "Legend Series" Bronze sculptures that are more affordable than most of his work. His ability to capture the spirt as well as the image of the subject has made this renouned artist extrodinarily popular. The artist also sculpted the legendary football coach Bear Bryant of the University of Alabama. Coach Bryant and John Wayne were friends, and after seeing the preliminary work on the Duke’s sculpture, he authorized the artist to sculpt his own likeness. The three-quarter scale bust stands 18” tall and was be offered to University alumni as well as the Bear’s other legions of fans.Will Rogers (Legend Series)
